EFA Presents!

The EFA Presents! program makes available subsidized performing arts field trips and visual arts repertoire to all K-12 schools in the Kalamazoo RESA service area.   EFA Presents! Admission Credit for K-8 Students In May 2007, the Superintendents of the ten school districts approved the EFA Presents! Admission Credit in recognition of the importance of maintaining access to high-quality arts education programming during difficult economic times. This exciting initiative provides free admission to selected works of art for every K-8 school (public and private) in the Kalamazoo RESA service district.   Each K-8 school receives one credit per enrolled student. The credits may be redeemed for admission to selected works of art on the  Repertoire. Credits may be used for one event or for a combination of events. If a school uses all of its credits for the school year, but wants to attend additional events, it may purchase extra admissions at a cost of only $2.00 per student. EFA Presents! Admission Fees for Grades 9-12 High schools in the Kalamazoo RESA service district may purchase admission to works of art on the Repertoire. Admission is only $2.00 per student. Booking Schools may book their events for the entire school year with one call or email. The series features world-class artists in a variety of performance spaces throughout Kalamazoo County. Visual Arts Series The Visual Arts Series features school touring exhibitions and exhibitions at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, WMU Richmond Center for Visual Arts and other area museums.   Bus Transportation Rebate In addition to subsidized performances and tickets, EFA Presents! provides bus transportation rebates to elementary and middle schools ($1.00 per student, not to exceed the actual cost).
